Do you are a spy?
Of course not! The fort Crestwald was top secret for 60 long years. Now you can come and see the artillery work. In June 2001 the fort museum Crestawald opened his doors. Already 4500 museum visitors has been counted at the end from the first museum season.
The fort Crestawald is a small and manageable construction in comparison to other artillery works. It is possible, thanks to the compactness of the fort, to see and live several sectors from the fortification in a reasonable time. As well as elder visitors are welcome and can visit the whole fortification with small exceptions.
The inside temperature is approx. 14 degrees. To be recommended is for the tour to take with a warm coat and good foodwear.
