1883년 루돌프 폰 살리스-무랄트(Rudolf von Salis-Muralt)는 유명한 건축가인 니콜라스 하트만(Nicolaus Hartmann)에게 1590년에 지어진 농가를 근엄하고 귀족적인 빌라로 바꾸는 작업을 맡겼다. 1982년부터 체사 살리스(Chesa Salis)는 마치 집에서 머무는 듯한 편안함을 제공하는 호텔이 되었다. 따듯하고 고급스러운 분위기를 내뿜는 엄청난 두께를 자랑하는 벽이 있다. 18개의 편안한 객실에서는 숙련된 장인의 손길이 묻어난다. 아늑한 분위기의 라운지에서는 미식의 즐거움과 지역 특선요리를 만끽할 수 있다.

Allegra, welcome to Chesa Salis - a house with history and tradition - in the heart of the historic village centre of Bever. The Chesa Salis, an Engadine patrician house dating from 1590, was once owned by the von Salis noble family from Graubünden. The Chesa Salis with its 16 guest rooms is hidden yet centrally located in the Upper Engadine at an altitude of 1714 metres above sea level. Enjoy peace and relaxation in close proximity to the well-known sports and cultural centres of Pontresina, St. Moritz and Sils. The golf courses Samedan and Zuoz are 3 km and 8 km away respectively. Our restaurant is open in the evening from Tuesday to Saturday for house guests, and on request also for external guests.

본래 귀족 그리송(Grisons) 소유의 농가였던 이곳은 1877년부터 폰 살리스(Von Salis) 가족이 소유하게 되었고 1883년, 니콜라스 하트만(Nicolaus Hartmann)이 귀족적인 빌라로 변신시켰다. 나무로 된 로지아, 지방 특유의 건축법으로 지어진 유서 깊은 외관과 연철로 된 장식 등으로 꾸며져 있다. 객실은 반석 소나무 판넬과 치장벽돌로 칠해져 있다. 반석 소나무 객실과 폰 살레스(Von Salis)룸에서는 19세기에 만들어진 가구를 찾아볼 수 있다.
