13:30-17:00 Enjoy a taste of the old days in Erschmatt near Leukerbad, where rye bread is baked in the traditional way twice a year. Participants can learn about old varieties of grain and see how it was ground into flour and made into bread on a guided tour through Erschmatt village. And they can also try their hand at making dough and baking bread themselves. In between, there will be time for a light lunch and a late-afternoon snack, so no one need go hungry! And at the end of the day, participants can each take two loaves of freshly baked, genuine Valais rye bread home with them. CHF 90.- per person. Registration required.
