Tiger Run


The snappiest piste in or near Gstaad is located on the Wasserngrat. Marked in black, the Tiger Run is the region’s steepest slope and has a huge average gradient of 45 degrees. When reaching the end of the run, skiers are in no doubt as to where their thighs are located.

Small but mighty: On the Wasserngrat, one of Gstaad's local mountains, there are three slopes with varying degrees of difficulty. The two easier routes are also suitable for families. However, beginners should give the black-marked descent a miss: The Tiger Run is the steepest slope in Saanenland and presents a highly enjoyable challenge for experienced skiers whose techniques and fitness levels are up to the challenge.
