With its cosy, romantic atmosphere, its warm and genuine welcome and its deeprooted Swiss hospitality, this much-loved hotel has long been the top address in the city.

Opened in 1930 on the sunny plateau of Crans-Montana, high above the Rhone valley, the Hotel Bella Lui is now recognised as an outstanding example of Modernist architecture.

Named Historic Hotel of the Year for 2008 by Icomos (the International Council on Monuments and Sites), the Schatzalp was built in art nouveau style. The novelist Thomas Mann describes it in “The Magic Mountain”.

The 'Bären' was declared a historic restaurant under the patronage of UNESCO and comprises 3 distinct parts. The lovingly furnished hotel, our restaurant with its rustic, comfortable dining rooms and the modern seminar centre.

Not far from Zürich, located on the River Rhine in the picturesque little town of Eglisau, is the Gasthof Hirschen, a listed building whose history stretches back to the 16th century.

Het Jugendstilhaus uit de hotelpionierstijd is nu nog een magneet in Entlebuch. De kamers zijn in rustieke stijl uitgevoerd. Familiair en ongedwongen leidt de eigenaarsfamilie Maag het hotel, met een uitstekende gastronomie. De baas verwent zijn gasten met regionale en seizoensgebonden specialiteiten.

Een jaar geleden ontving Gasthof Gyrenbad, gelegen in de gemeente Turbenthal, de prijs "Historisch hotel van het jaar 1997".

Bijzondere erkenning 2000: Het gebouw waarin zich nu het Landgasthof Ruedihus bevindt werd in 1793 voor de net tot landsvaandrig gekozen Peter Germann gebouwd.
