Arolla (Wallis)
This hotel has been run by the same family
for four generations.
The building dates from 1896, but was renovated
in 1979 and equipped with every modern
comfort and convenience.
Astano (Tessin)
This family hotel is housed in the former post
office of Astano, surrounded by a Mediter -
ranean-style garden with terraces, pergola
and swimming pool.
Basel (Basel (Region))
Named Historic Hotel of the Year in 2007 by
the Swiss branch of Icomos (the Interna tional
Council on Monuments and Sites), the Hotel
Krafft was built in 1873 on the sunny north
bank of the Rhine, looking out across the
river towards the Old Town.
Bever (Graubünden)
In 1883, Rudolf von Salis-Muralt commis -
sioned the celebrated architect Nicolaus
Hartmann to convert this farmhouse, built in
1590, into a magnificent patrician villa.

Hotel Kurhaus Flühli ontstond van 1897 tot 1904 als L-vormig gebouw op een prominente plaats in het centrum van het dorp. Aan zijn klokkentorentje is het van verre in het dal van de Waldemme (kanton Luzern) te herkennen.

Kandersteg (Berner Oberland)
Bijzondere erkenning 2000: Het gebouw waarin zich nu het Landgasthof Ruedihus bevindt werd in 1793 voor de net tot landsvaandrig gekozen Peter Germann gebouwd.

Bijzondere onderscheiding 2000: Chesa Grischuna ontstond in 1938 als gesamtkunstwerk in de periode toen men in Zwitserland tijdens de 'Landesaustellung' in Zürich weer belangstelling kreeg voor de eigen landelijke stijl.

Lausanne-Ouchy (Genferseegebiet)
Historische Hotel 1999: Het Hotel Beau-Rivage in Ouchy aan de kade van Lausanne ontstond medio 19e eeuw op initiatief van een privé-maatschappij. Na een bouwtijd van twee jaar kon op 24 maart 1864 het eerste grand hôtel in de stad Lausanne worden geopend.

Bijzondere onderscheiding 1998: Gelegen aan het plein in Poschiavo, vormt Hotel Albrici een wezenlijk element van het dorpsbeeld. Het Palazzo Massella werd in 1682 gebouwd. De familie Albrici verweirf het in 1815 en maakte er een hotel van.
Rorschacherberg (Ostschweiz / Liechtenstein)
The castle of Schloss Wartegg was built in
1557 by Caspar Blarer von Wartensee above
the southern shore of Lake Constance. His
Renaissance palace was extended significantly
three times: in 1676, 1860 and 1930.

Historisch hotel van het jaar 2001: In 1883 werd het Grand Hôtel Bella Tola & St-Luc door de familie Pont aan de noordelijke rand van het dorp van St-Luc gebouwd. Het eenvoudige pension groeide al snel uit tot een alpine grand hôtel.

The Hobby Hotel is situated next door to the steamer pier and the funiculars up Mt. Rigi. It was first built in 1873 by the Vitznau-Rigibahn, Europe’s first mountain railway (1871), as part of the station complex.
