… dan zwarte dennen, wilde beken. Al snel ook groene weiden met grazende koeien. Knusse chalets in het dal en op de hellingen, daarboven met rotsen bedekte toppen:
het Saanenland, dan het Simmental. Overstappen in Zweisimmen. En dan al snel de Thunersee. 
U rijdt naar Interlaken. De trein, die hier wacht, will u eerst nog de Brienzersee laten zien en bij Brienz de Giessbachwatervallen. Vanaf Meiringen klimt hij omhoog over de Brünigpas en rijdt daarna weer omlaag naar Centraal Zwitserland. Nog eens bergluchten, weiden, koeien. Tijdens de afdaling nog de Lungern- en de Sarnersee, dan de Alpnachersee. U bent aangekomen in het hart van Zwitserland. Na de korte tunnel verschijnt het Vierwoudstedenmeer. Luzern ligt vlak om de hoek. U hebt het eindpunt van de GoldenPass Line bereikt.

Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival Lucerne
Transfer by train from the border, airport or any other destination in Switzerland to Lucerne. Short walk from the railway station to your hotel. Depending on your arrival time opportunity to discover the Old Town on your own. Overnight in Lucerne.
Day 2: Zentralbahn and on the tracks of GoldenPass Line Lucerne – Montreux
After breakfast short walk to the railway station. The trains of the Zentralbahn are waiting for you for a small trip around the world: two languages, three worlds, six lakes, one line – that’s the Zentralbahn/GoldenPass Line. Starting in the German speaking Lucerne region, the journey takes you over the Brünig pass into the Bernese Oberland. Passing Lake Brienz and after a short journey you arrive at Interlaken. Along the shores of Lake Thun you reach the Simmen valley with Zweisimmenn and the world known holiday resort of Gstaad. French peppers the air. Further on through the wild romantic Pays d’Enhaut with the scenic villages of Château d’Oex and Montbovon continues the journey through a tunnel before the panoramic view of the Lake Geneva and Montreux opens in front of you. Short walk from the railway station to your hotel and overnight in Montreux.
Day 3: Departure
After breakfast transfer by rail to the airport, border or your next holiday destination.
