Mergoscia

Typical mountain village, with very beautiful old houses, mostly transformed into vacation homes. Splendid view of the "Pizzo of Vogorno", the artificial lake of Vogorno and Lake Maggiore. Mergoscia is the geometric center of the canton Ticino. Interesting hikes to the "Monti di Lego" (refuge), Cardada and Corippo. Of particular interest are the village square and the Church of St.Gotthard.
