While on this section (Saas Grund, Grächen, Zermatt, Gruben, St. Luc) you’ll get up close and personal with the high mountains and marvel time and time again at the magnificent panorama of the Valais four-thousand metre high peaks. This route is only suitable for experienced and fit mountain hikers. A fantastic experience in a high-Alpine environment.
