At 6-kilometer length, the gondola ride and raiway from Grindelwald-Grund, with journey time of around 30 minutes, is one of the longest and most scenic. And the steep cable car ride through rock walls and on up to the ridge is equally as scenic too.
A hike here to the Männlichen summit, and on to the Kleine Scheidegg panorama path is well worth the time - and the romantic trail to Alpiglen, the Öpfelchüechliweg (apple tart path!), Gemsenweg (chamois) to Wengen or Felix-trail for families and children are other attractive options.
