In summer, those with a passion for hill-walking will find everything to satisfy their heart's desire in the Obergoms region: there are over 300 km of signposted paths, ranging from mountain walks on glaciers and over mountain passes, to leisurely strolls in the valleys. The special cycle nature trail (26 km long), along with a variety of mountain bike trails, are sure to tempt the whole family to explore the area by bike.
You can get a taste of adventure, too, by going river rafting on the upper stretches of the Rhone, or donkey and llama trekking along narrow mule tracks. An exciting trip on the nostalgic Furka steam railway provides a special kind of spectacle for young and old alike.
