All over the world gourmets and experts appreciate Gruyère AOP for its unique flavour. This popular cheese has been made for centuries in the countryside around the village of Gruyères, and today is still produced in the traditional way in the cheese dairies of western Switzerland.

Rougemont – um vilarejo tradicional

Um vilarejo tradicional ainda intocado no d'Enhaut Pays. Seus tradicionais chalés de madeira são frequentemente adornados com provérbios e flores, da primavera ao outono. A igreja de Rougemont é uma joia da arquitetura românica, remontando ao século XI. Foi construída pelos monges da ordem de Cluny. A igreja e o castelo adjacentes, ambos gozam do estatuto de edifícios listados autonomamente.
