Hotel Restaurant Ermitage SHV / Wanderhotel stars



This chalet-style hotel with its tranquil setting at the edge of the forest has been run by the Bieri family since 1997. Management is committed to the hotel and to satisfying ecological demands. In spring 2010 the hotel was completely re-insulated and provided with a pretty wooden facade. Wood is used for heating. The kitchen has been awarded the Goût Mieux label and mainly local organic ingredients are used. Winter garden, restaurant with extensive panorama, sun terrace and a large children's playground.




This hotel is built in traditional chalet style with ecological aspects and is personally managed by the Bieri family. The local service team led by Karl Bieri and excellent organic cuisine by Rosmarie Bieri are an example of a committed Swiss hotel management in harmony with nature.

The cable car to the beautifully breathtaking glacial Lake Oeschinen is located next to the hotel. In winter the area is transformed into a beautiful skiing and tobogganing paradise.
