在风光明媚的瑞士铁路线中，人们称赞最多的要数伯尔尼纳快车了。伯尔尼纳快车是纵穿阿尔卑斯进入意大利，它从格劳宾登州的库尔或圣莫里茨一直到达意大利境内的蒂拉诺。整条线路大约４个小时，火车沿途经过的山口和终点蒂拉诺之间的海拔高度差1828米，从草地和灌木林的阿尔卑斯来到充满南国风情的湖畔，窗外呈现给游客的是变化万千的景色。另外由于是从德语区穿行到意大利语区，那截然不同的城镇和乡村景色也很吸引人。从库尔到圣莫里茨的这段距离和冰川快车的路线重合。从圣莫里茨出发，立即可见雄壮的莫尔特拉奇冰河及伯尔尼纳阿尔卑斯诸峰。列车驶过伯尔尼纳峰后，沿着平缓的山坡向下行驶，向波斯基亚沃方向开去。在夏季还可以坐巴士从蒂拉诺转到瑞士的卢加诺。
伯尔尼纳快车沿途可以非常接近的看到三大冰河：过了蓬特雷西纳之后，将紧挨着莫尔特拉施冰河向伯尔尼纳山最高峰（海拔2253米）开去，直至到达意大利。而整条铁路中最值得夸耀的是途中几乎没有什么隧道，火车直接穿行在阿尔卑斯山中，可以尽情的欣赏美丽的景色。 ‘
火车沿途穿越55座隧道，跨越196座桥梁，全程约145公里。经过地区的高度差较大，途中经过的山口和终点站蒂拉诺之间的海拔高度差有1828米，在不使用齿轨列车的情况下，爬坡度达到千分之七十。列车将旅客从瑞士最古老的城市库尔送往云雾缭绕的荒凉山峰，沿途还可以欣赏到壮观的莫尔特拉奇冰河。列车继续向南就进入了迷人的Veltin。从草地和灌木林的阿尔卑斯来到充满南国风情的湖畔，窗外呈现给游客的是变化万千的景色；另外，由于是从德语区穿行至意大利语区，那截然不同的城市与乡村景色也很吸引人。
这条线路连接着寒冷的北方和温暖的南方，被称为南北间最美的线路。2008年，这一观点得到了联合国教科文组织的认可，教科文组织将伯尔尼纳快车图西斯(Thusis)至蒂拉诺(Tirano)段确定为世界遗产地，成为世界上第三条获此殊荣的铁路线。第32届世界遗产大会上，瑞士最大的私营铁路网RhB铁路位于阿尔布拉－伯尔尼纳(Albula/Bernina)地区的一段线路入选《世界遗产名录》。阿尔布拉－伯尔尼纳铁路线建于20世纪初，是世界著名的窄轨铁路之一，它沿途穿越阿尔卑斯山，是迄今保存完好的一条重要的高山铁路线，所处海拔较高，与世界同类铁路线相比落差也较大，因其建筑结构、技术成就以及与环境的融合闻名。阿尔布拉段铁路于1904年投入使用。

Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in St. Moritz
Transfer by train from the border, airport or any other destination in Switzerland to St. Moritz. Short walk to your hotel, check in and overnight in St. Moritz.
Day 2: Bernina Express
Board the narrow-gauge Bernina Express at St. Moritz station and enjoy one of the most impressive scenic rail journeys Switzerland has to offer. Climbing over the spectacular Bernina Pass to more than 2253 m you pass snow covered mountain peaks and glaciers to descend towards Poschiavo and Brusio. Travel over circular viaducts and pass through winding tunnels before reaching Tirano in Italy which is the end of the Bernina Express rail line. Change to the Bernina Express Bus which will take you onwards to Ticino. Through the vineyards of Veltlin and along the banks of Lake Como this lovely journey ends in Lugano – Southern Switzerland’s largest town. Overnight in Lugano.
Day 3: Departure
After breakfast transfer by rail to the airport/border or your next holiday destination.
