消息
The village is placed in a pleasant location surrounded by fertile fields and vineyards and far from the bigger highways.
Its extensive territory reaches to the picturesque, panoramic region of Serpiano and the summit of Monte San Giorgio, including forests and fields which are especially inviting to the hiker.
The spot has been inhabited since the Middle Ages; it seems that there was once a castle of which there is no longer any trace, with the exception of the shields on the walls of the Church of St. Sylvester. The village is home to many artists and men of letters: the painter Francesco Antonio Giorgioli, the Fossatis, the Roncatis, the Provinis, the Melchionis, and above all the Oldellis, who count some stucco workers as well as famous clergymen and notaries in their family.
