History Museum: QIN - 8000 terracotta warriors, 2000 years of China, 1 emperor

From 15 March to 17 November 2013, the History Museum of Bern will dedicate a major exhibit to the First Emperor of China. â??Qin â?? 8,000 terracotta warriors, 2,000 years, 1 emperorâ?? offers insight into a critical time in the history of China and is sure to attract a large audience from Switzerland and other central European countries. The exhibit focuses on the establishment of the Chinese empire in 221 B.C., the dazzling first emperor and his monumental tomb with the spectacular army of terracotta soldiers as well as the legacy of this period for China.
