简介

For many centuries this feudal building was home to the noble Heidegg family - whereas today it houses the history and culture center of the Seetal valley. A living museum in which you learn stories and customs of aristocratic families, with the spirit of the past further rekindled with a stroll in the large park with its beautiful rose garden.

It’s worth setting aside enough time to visit the Castle Heiden - as this, the former manor of the noble Heiden family, is today the venue for regular events in the context of history and culture center of the Seetal valley. Here inside the history-steeped walls and rooms visitors immerse in the 800 year-old history of the castle, its surroundings and life at that time.

The living museum provides a view of the everyday life and customs of its former gentry - with the attic a regal playground and dream castle in which children can dress as princes and princesses and play for hours to their heart’s content. And an extensive park with vines, romantic path, scented rose garden and grand chestnut alley followed by crowning finish with coffee and cakes at the castle café rounds up an interesting and pleasurable visit for all.
