Gasthaus Bären

Gonten

A renowned hotel that can look back on a lengthy tradition, located at the heart of the village of Gonten in the Appenzellerland. Since 1806, this hostelry has been owned by the Gmünder family, which has now managed it in person for five generations. Thanks to an extensive refurbishment in 2012, the historic ambience of the building has been preserved and enhanced by a modern interior. Comfortable rooms. The speciality restaurant and the "Uelistube" are famous for their first-class Appenzell dishes. A good location for excursions to the Kronberg mountain, with special offers for families, golfers and gourmets.

为传统瑞士酒店爱好者

This is one of Gonten's oldest inns, and it has also served as a bakery and carriage-house at various times during its 600-year history. Built in the Appenzell style, the hotel is now managed by the fifth generation of the Gmünder family. It features an elegant yet rustic atmosphere, with tastefully refurbished rooms. On the culinary side, the emphasis is on bio-products and Appenzell specialities, complemented by a first-class Swiss wine list.
