It is the oldest tavern in the city of Bern and has been plying guests with food and drink for 500 years. While many things at the Goldene Schlüssel have changed during that time, the cordial hospitality certainly has not! Now a charming hotel which was recently renovated from top to bottom, the Goldene Schlüssel is located in the picturesque pedestrian zone of the Swiss capital, whose impeccably preserved medieval town centre has earned it a place on the list of UNESCO World Heritage sites.
