Intro

The Alpine and traditional cheese dairy of Tannenboden was built at the turn of the century. Through a large glass pane in the cozy restaurant you can watch how cheese is made. Fine fresh dairy products such as Alpine cheese, yoghurt, butter, milk and Camenbert cheese are sold here.

A children's playground and a large sun terrace invite visitors to tarry a while. During the Alpine grazing time you can witness cheese-making daily. Visitors can also make their own cheese over an open fire, as in the olden days. One can ideally combine the visit to Alp Tannenboden with a hearty meal - Raclette, Fondue, Älplermagronen (a Swiss pasta specialty with potatoes and cheese) - in the Alp restaurant Sennenstube.
