Intro
Located in the rear of the Calfeisen Valley, at 2,158 meters at the foot of the Sardona Glacier, three hours from the Walser village of St. Martin.
The Sardona hut lies to the rear of the Calfeisen valley, at the foot of the Sardona glacier. It was built in 1898 by the St. Gallen section and then enlarged in 1967 and 2000. Today, this comfortable hut with 43 beds is a rewarding destination for walkers and mountain climbers alike. It is an en-route stop along the GeoPark highland way from Kerenzerberg to Elm via Weisstannen.
