New meets old on a short hike in the mountain landscape around Klosters: modern installations in sun-baked cow stalls explain local history, culture and nature.
In Klosters the local dialect word for the stalls is “Gadä“. Five of them along the hiking trail from Monbiel to Russna have been converted to offer exciting and informative presentations on the topics of mountain agriculture and tourism. In each of the five stalls, various stories are told about Klosters and its farmers. The installations on nature, culture, art and history are produced in German and English. Chinese guests can experience the Gadä trail in their own language thanks to a QR code and online audio files.
