Six performers stand at the starting line: the countdown is on, the tension is rising. With street dance, a racetrack, footballs, beats and a powerful visual language, GIANT STEPS lures the audience into a captivating game of movement, community and competition.
The dance piece explores what it means to be brave, take risks and pursue big dreams. An energetic production about team spirit, daring and solidarity - electrifying right through to the after-party.
"remi demi" is a young, lively collective of nine dancers and a musician who are shaking up the dance scene. The name "remi demi" stands for making noise, exuberant joy, cleaning up and resolutely standing up for what is important. The company brings together dancers from different backgrounds - from hip-hop and breaking to contemporary techniques. The collective pursues a collaborative and interdisciplinary approach.
