Information
Description
Ambience:
Although the guesthouse is buzzing with guests, both restaurants and the sun terrace radiate alpine cosiness, and the hearty, natural cuisine shows that hikers and gourmets have more in common than one may think. The upper levels of the guesthouse host twelve simply furnished rooms with a shared bathroom.
Location:
Located at 1,822 metres above sea level at the very end of the idyllic Val Bever.
Cuisine:
The menu, inspired by regional and Italian food, is a pure temptation and makes you want to try every single dish: rocket salad with goat’s cream cheese, pumpkin soup with roasted pumpkin seeds, homemade pasta with Ramatini tomatoes and chicken strips, tagliata made of Engadine angus beef with rosemary potatoes and vegetables, steak made of Bergell chestnut-fed pork on gorgonzola sauce and roasted polenta. The products mainly derive from local gardens and organic livestock, and the selection of wines offers numerous discoveries at fair prices.
