There is no humification without worms: what farmers have always known, Hans and Esther Fuhrer show to laymen in their worm hutch. Visitors can see the wild activity in the worm hutch up close – a unique experience in Switzerland. On the Spittel organic farm in Aeschi, visitors will discover how solid manure and plant matter are converted to natural fertiliser by worms. There is a chance to ask further questions while enjoying a drink afterwards.
