Pierre-Yves Gabioud

Pierre-Yves Gabioud (1953). After completing an apprenticeship as a decorator, he spent 15 years with various groups of the Friedrichshof community in Switzerland, Austria and the Canary Islands. Since 1995, when he returned to Praz-de-Fort in Val Ferret, Valais, he has studied painting and engraving on a self-taught basis, seeking advice and guidance from Gérard de Palézieux, whom he later befriended. Pierre-Yves Gabioud has won numerous awards in Switzerland and abroad. His work has been the subject of over fifty solo exhibitions over the last thirty years, in Switzerland and abroad.
