Intro

The greatly revamped viticultural trail from Twann to Ligerz will take you through the vineyards above Lake Biel in about an hour.

The trail begins in picturesque Twann. After admiring the flower-bedecked windows, visitors will find the first post directly after the bridge over the Twannbach Gorge. The well-signposted educational trail documents the history of vineyards and viticulture in the area. On arrival in Ligerz, visitors should head to the Viticulture Museum if they want more information about winegrowing traditions. Larger groups can also book a wine tasting in the museum.
