Overview
From Lake Schwarzsee to Lake Geneva The first highlight of this hiking tour is the dark Schwarzsee. Legend has it that it got its color because a giant once washed his feet in it. At the start of your hiking tour, however, this body of water sparkles turquoise or deep blue. The route continues through the wild Jaunbach Gorge to Gruyères, which is guarded by a multi-towered castle. Then past alpine cheese dairies, along the flank of the Moléson and across lush green meadows to the winter sports resort of Les Paccots. A hike to the shores of Lake Geneva concludes this tour.
