Welcome to the Relais & Châteaux IN LAIN Hotel Cadonau, the smallest 5-star superior hotel in Switzerland! The antique 400-year-old, beautiful, original Engadine house has been lavishly, stylishly and gently renovated. The result is a bijou. IN LAIN is Romansh and means "made of wood" in German. It is obvious that the house was finished with high-quality Engadine wood. The entrance is warm and cozy and you, dear guests, will be warmly welcomed in a pine parlour. The Engadine house of the Relais & Châteaux IN LAIN Hotel Cadonau is home to our three very special restaurants. The restaurant La Stüvetta with the Talvo, the cheese dairy and the gourmet restaurant VIVANDA (awarded 1 star Michelin and 17 Gault&Millau points). Also in the Engadine House are the Engadine Junior Suite and the Family Rooms. 11 dream suites in the new building, a sun terrace and a bar/lounge complete the offer of the Relais & Châteaux IN LAIN Hotel Cadonau.

Brail is located in the heart of the Engadine, at the entrance to the national park (27 km from St. Moritz and 34 km away from Scuol). The hotel INLAIN Cadonau is located at an altitude of 1624 meters above sea level in a highly visited and recreation area. By train you travel with the RhB (Rhaetian Railway), through twisting tunnels and over dizzying viaducts up to Cinuos-chel Brail. Please let us know your arrival time and we will pick you up from the station. By car, you can choose between the passes Flüela, Albula and Julier, each is appealing and beautiful. During winter you can reach us easily by RhB car-train-transportation Vereina, out of Selfragna at Klosters all the way to Saglians. From Saglians you reach uns in approx. 20 minutes.
