The idea is to encourage keen hikers to explore new routes to 23 mountain huts in the canton of Uri. A reward awaits anyone who visits at least three huts and collects the relevant stamps as they go.

  • Culinary hiking experience with the Treno Gottardo

    Operated by the Südostbahn railway company, the modern Treno Gottardo travels from Zurich, Basel, Lucerne or Locarno to Andermatt. From there, you will take the Gütsch-Express to the middle station, where you can enjoy coffee and croissants at the Matti family restaurant. Afterwards, you will continue on towards Gütsch by gondola and then hike to the Schneehüenerstock, passing the breathtaking Lutersee mountain lake on the way.
