Ticino slices with apricots
Do you have bread left over from yesterday? We have the ideal recipe to make use of it. These Ticino slices with apricots are ideal for a summer’s day and taste simply “delizioso”.
Beat eggs in a bowl together with cream, sugar, vanilla sugar and salt. Cut “Ticino bread” into 10 slices, add to mixture, allow to soften for approx. 5 minutes.
Arrange bread slices on a baking tray lined with baking paper. Melt butter in a pan and brush the slices with it. Bake for approx. 20 minutes at 200 degrees in the middle of a preheated oven.
Slice apricots, place in a pan, sprinkle with brown sugar, cover and steam for approx. 3 minutes. Serve compote with the Ticino slices.
