In the past, Charmey's livelihood came from two sources: the forest and alpine cheese - both in production and export, as the village was on the cheese route, exporting cheese as far as neighboring France.

The mountain hut and alpine cheese dairy Les Invuettes, situated at the entrance to the Gros Mont valley between Charmey and Jaun, welcomes you every day between May and the end of October.

We offer you a not everyday environment in the middle of nature! The terrace with the arbor offers enough space for about 30 people. If it's too cold, the spacious guest room ensures a pleasant stay.
