Alpine Panorama Trail Schwarzsee - Lake Geneva
Overview
First highlight of this walk are the sparkling waters of lake “Schwarzsee”. This is an unspoilt and scarcely populated area – no wonder that tales and legends of giants and dragons take place in the surroundings of this lake. Your walk leads you through the wild scenery of the gorge of river Jaun towards the lovely village of Gruyères. A walk past its castle leads you towards the village Les Paccots – in winter a lively skiing destination, in summertime a quiet village. Then you reach the waters and vineyards of Lake Geneva. A stroll on the promenade of Montreux, and a marvellous last hike through the vineyards of Lavaux to the charming town Lausanne are the last highlights on this idyllic walking tour.
