Holidays amid vineyards.

The old chicken coop is located at the upper end of a typical terraced vineyard and belongs to the Domäne du Vigny. The estate was built during the Second World War by Yolande Perdrizat-Duboux’s grandfather. Today, his granddaughter manages the large house and extensive garden, which extends to the surrounding vineyards.

Time to enjoy.

In fine weather, Yolande Perdrizat-Duboux sets out a breakfast buffet in the garden. At the long table, guests exchange stories and tips over home-made bread, berries from the garden and local cheeses, while their children play in the shade of the trees or lie back and read a book in the hammock.

I like the simple, authentic things in life. And that’s what I offer my guests too.

A tour of the vineyards with the winemaker’s daughter.

If you want to know more about wine, ask Yolande. Although she doesn’t produce wine herself any more, the winemaker’s daughter is happy to share her passion and knowledge with her guests. She is proud of her Dôle d’Epesses, the only Dôle that is allowed to be produced outside Valais and for which her family has the seniority right exclusively for Vaud.

Life in Vigny.

Simple and authentic – this is how life in Vigny really feels, and it is also wonderfully relaxed. After an extended breakfast you can cycle through the vineyards, hike down to the lake and jump into the cold water or walk through the vineyards.

6:00pm Dinner by the campfire.
