Biel's train station was built in 1923 and is one of the 10 largest stations in Switzerland.
The neoclassical Biel station was built in 1923. One of the waiting rooms dating back to that time has remained unchanged ever since. The station also housed a virtually unchanged Art Deco-style buffet, which was converted to a booking hall when the station was upgraded in 2010. Biel's train station is one of the 10 largest stations in Switzerland.
