Alljährlich am letzten Sonntag im April (Pandemiezeiten ausgenommen) versammeln sich alle stimmberechtigten Frauen und Männer mit Wohnsitz in Appenzell I.Rh.

Mitten im idyllischen Dorf Appenzell, am Fusse des Alpsteins, wird das Postplatz Festival durchgeführt. An zwei Abenden verwandelt sich der Kronengartenplatz in ein Festivalgelände.

The Herkules band kicks off the 29th Appenzeller Ländlerfest at the Pub Appenzell.

The concert evening "100 Years Hornsepp" of the Appenzeller Ländlerfest will take place on Friday, August 8, 2025 in the festival tent on the Postplatz.

Music will once again be played at three festival sites and in various restaurants in the village center of Appenzell at the beginning of August.

Under the motto "From the village for the village", we cordially invite you to take part actively or come and marvel and discover. Children are of course also welcome!

Biedermeier Sunday with reception of arriving tourists at Heiden railroad station and performances in the Biedermeier Hall of the Linde Inn.
