Piste du Chamois
Overview
Intro
The Val d'Anniviers is home to a diverse selection of pistes. One of the most beautiful and also most challenging descents in the entire valley is the Piste du Chamois. It runs from the highest point in the ski area of Zinal and down to the village of Grimentz.
Skiers in the Val d'Anniviers have a wide variety of slopes to choose from, ranging from numerous easy routes to some really challenging ones. The latter include the long descent from the Corne de Sorebois to Grimentz. To start off, the black-marked Piste du Chamois is very steep. It then runs over several beautiful wide slopes to the edge of the forest. The final section from Tsirouc takes you along a flat trail and ends at the edge of the village of Grimentz.
