Ô Vergers d’Ajoie – Swiss museum of fruit and distillation
“Ô Verger d’Ajoie” is a museum which allows you to immerse yourself in the production process of brandy via interactive, multi-sensory activities, both within the museum and outside in the orchards.
During the visit, the different stages of the manufacturing process are displayed to visitors, from blossoming through to the end product, the brandy. The museum offers a wide selection of award-winning spirits from Switzerland, a unique collection of historical retorts, as well as ’the largest plantation of damson trees in Europe. At the end of the visit, visitors can sample various types of brandy and buy local products at a small shop. The museum can be reached on foot from the station, via the Sentier de la Damassine or by public transport: the name of the stop is «“Ô Verger d’Ajoie”.
