Corvatsch Park
Overview
Intro
With its four lines, Corvatsch Park is the perfect training ground for freeriders of all levels.
Let’s fly!
Has the right degree of cool evaded you this winter despite the plummeting temperatures? Maybe you need to fine-tune your repertoire of tricks!
The “Top Park” is generally open from the start of the season with a “line” consisting of simple jumps and rails that is aimed at both beginners and experienced professionals. As soon as there is enough snow, the course is extended and the “Medium Line” opens, running along the entire Mandra chairlift. Kickers and rails ensure fun for experienced freestylers, ski school pupils and anyone brave enough to try.
Corvatsch, whose name means “raven” in Romansch, invites freestylers of all ages to do like its namesake by taking to the skies. A wide variety of setups await pros, rookies and weekend warriors in Corvatsch Park, the Engadine freestyle paradise par excellence. A lot of creativity is required when flying through obstacles such as the kicker lines, rails and halfpipe. The idols of the scene also provide inspiration here when they whizz through the air performing 540s, double corks and switch 1080s in the Freeski World Cup.
If you’ve had your fill of technique and you long for an extra dose of fun and action, the “Fun Ride” slope offers creative variety away from the perfectly groomed slopes: This 500m fun ride with waves, steep curves, small jumps and tables is just to the left of Corvatsch Park at the Mandra chair lift.
Daily snow grooming
A seven-strong crew prepares the park every day and is constantly expanding and changing it. No wonder that Corvatsch Park is also a venue for national and international competitions!
