Intro
Visitors from the city have stars in their eyes when they step into the former farmhouse high above Zweisimmen. “Cordial, traditional and good” is what the down-to-earth mountain restaurant wants to be, and this is exactly what the restaurant inside, the Chüjerstübli, and the sheltered sun terrace outside are.
Information
Description
Ambience:
Every day, Johann Graf, the host, tries to make his guests a little bit happier. He faces the same challenge that nearly all ski huts and mountain restaurants have: the large fluctuation in customers. One day too many guests request a table and the next day there are hardly any. For Graf it is important that during the most intense times you should let life simply go on and always try to meet everybody’s needs. And he and his team are brilliant in doing just that.
Location:
Located at an altitude of 1,298 metres at the ski slope on the Rinderberg from the Eggweid middle station to Zweisimmen.
Cuisine:
Cheese fondue, raclette, Rösti variations, salads and simple meat dishes.
Good to know:
Staffed mountain restaurant
Open Wednesdays to Sundays.
