Intro
Set on a hillside facing Lake Geneva and the mountains, Lausanne offers walkers plenty of extraordinary panoramic views. This downhill stroll will take you to the 10 most beautiful vantage points in the city.
Approximately 6 km in length, the panoramic stroll lasts 1h 45mins. It includes the Sauvabelin Tower, the cathedral esplanade, the Signal de Sauvabelin lookout post, the countryside around the Hermitage, the St. Maire Castle esplanade, the Flon footbridge, the vicinity of the Collège du Belvédère, the Esplanade du Montbenon, the Montriond hillcrest and the Languedoc hillside, giving you the chance to discover Lausanne from different perspectives. The walk also passes through the city centre and can be split into sections.
