Majestically situated on a hill above the village of Stoos, the Stoos hut opened its doors in December 2015. The mountain restaurant places particular emphasis on the use of regional produce. The hut itself was also mainly built by using local materials.

Description
Ambience:
The Stoos Hüttä offers a modern alpine feel-good atmosphere. It has two rooms that serve as a restaurant, a large staffed sun terrace, which also has a self-service section, as well as ten functional bedrooms that accommodate 2 to 7 guests. Ursula and Richard Gasenzer, the landlords, look after their guests in an exemplary manner and make them feel at home.
Location:
Located on the summit of the Fronalpstock at 1,922 m above sea level. Accessible by chairlift via the car-free mountain village of Stoos.
Cuisine:
Cheese and dried meat platters, choice of salads and sandwiches, cheese spätzle with roasted onions and apple puree, spring rolls with salad, chicken nuggets, pork escalope with chips, chicken slices on curry sauce and spätzle, veal steak with creamy mushroom sauce, beef stroganoff; and for dessert, apple cake with vanilla ice-cream, meringues with cream, chocolate cake or fruit tarts. In the evening, there is also fondue chinoise or a Muotathal-style cheese fondue with pineapple and potatoes.
