Uri-Rotstock, Älpler, Maisander and Brisen – four striking peaks that line the image of the Gitschenen mountain inn.
But before you can enjoy the calming mountain panorama, you have to climb 1,550 metres – on foot or by cable car. In any case, the Gitschenen sun terrace in the municipality of Isenthal, located in the canton of Uri, will spoil you right from the start - we promise!

Take the A2 motorway to the Altdorf exit. From here, follow the white signs in the direction of Seedorf, Isleten, Isenthal to the cable car valley station in St. Jakob. It is about 25 minutes by car from Altdorf to the cable car.
