Description

The present-day social and cultural complex was set up by the Rüttihubelbad foundation in 1986. The foundation includes: old people’s home, social therapy, hotel, restaurant, cafeteria, shop, ballroom, meeting rooms and sensorium. The hotel has a variety of rooms in the 3-star category. Linger awhile in the large garden and parkway. There is a playground for children and a well-equipped barbecue area in the nearby wood. Whilst staying at the Rüttihubelbad a visit to the sensorium is recommended. This exhibition about the senses is an experience for young and old alike. www.sensorium.ch. The restaurant offers a tempting array of dishes made with seasonally fresh, organic produce. The large sun terrace has exceptional long-distance views. Premises for up to 120 people are available. Perhaps one of the numerous cultural events is reason enough to visit the Rüttihubelbad?

Getting there

Arriving by car Option 1 (beautiful) • Exit Kirchberg to Burgdorf • All direction of Thun. There are some small villages to Walkingen. • In Walkringen before the post office/village shop, right direction Wikartswil, Rüttihubelbad (sign). Stay on the slightly wider road. • The hamlet Wikartswil pass through, then left down towards Rüttihubelbad (Directory) Option 2 (Faster) Take the highway to Muri (which is to Bern towards Thun, Interlaken) • Exit Muri Worb • In Worb (roundabout at Migros) to the left, through the village by. Intersection just after crossing the railway station. You come to Enggistein. Located in the village left up the hill, signpost Rüttihubelbad.
