Golf in Scuol

The sun-spoilt Scuol, Bad Tarasp-Vulpera, Sent and Ftan region nestles between the Silvretta summits and the so-called Engadine Dolomites. A total 77 kilometers of snow-sure trails for cross-country skiing and skating between Susch and Martina are open to you in the Scuol Engadine cross-country region.

There is a diverse network of ski pistes along the sunny slope of Motta Naluns high above Scuol in the Lower Engadin. The showpiece of downhill runs is located right on the eastern edge of the ski area: the Pista dal Sömi takes you from Salaniva to the pretty mountain village of Sent.

The ruined castle of Steinsberg with the remains of the St Lucius chapel is a well-known landmark in Ardez. The ruin occupies a dominant position on a rocky outcrop on the edge of the village and offers an ideal vantage point. The model village in the Lower Engadin is under European protection as an historical monument.

Along an ancient trade path, the «Puntins Ots Uina» adventure and culture trail leads through the Val d'Uina valley; a small and wildly romantic side valley in lower Engadine. A path characterized by attractive via ferrata passages as you make your way up and over the history-steeped way.

From Sur En in the Lower Engadin, the ice trail meanders through snowy woods along the Inn River. You can skate this three-kilometer-long trail at a leisurely pace or at a brisker clip. A unique way to enjoy the chill of winter.

The geological formation in the Clemgia Gorge with its green serpentine interspersions is particularly fascinating.
