    This country inn is situated one kilometre from the centre of Kandersteg, opposite its sister hotel the Doldenhorn, whose indoor pool and wellness centre can be used by Ruedihus guests free of charge. Eight charming rooms, two junior suites and two restaurants: The Chäs u Wystube (cheese and wine bar) with raclette, fondue and rösti, and the elegant Biedermeierstube with Swiss specialities such as Sure Mocke (wine-braised beef), Zürigschnätzläts (sautéed strips of veal, served in a cream sauce with rösti) and Blauseeforellen (Blue Lake rainbow trout).

    Directly on the banks of the Rhine in Klein-Basel (Lesser Basel). Comprehensive room renovations respecting the existing building structures were carried out in 2005, supplemented with Swiss-type furniture. In 2008 the 12 renovated rooms with en-suite bathrooms in the annex, complemented with Vitra furniture, were opened.     The history of this inn goes as far back as 1364, although the current building structure dates from the 17th century. Between 1990 and 1992 the building was completely renovated in cooperation with the Department for the Preservation of Historic Buildings and Monuments. The 3rd generation of this family-owned guesthouse manages it with much dedication and cultural sensitivity. The halls can accommodate between 20 and 100 guests.
