Once darkness has fallen and most visitors are enjoying an aperitif or sitting down to their evening meal, night-time skiers can relish an extra run down the slopes. Following a traditional cheese fondue to boost their energy levels, guests set off at 10:30 p.m. down the freshly prepared piste.
The snow crystals glisten like disco balls in the moonlight. The profiles of the mountains are clearer than by day. The Rothorn towers majestically over the pistes, reflecting the last of the twilight. The stage is set for a unique skiing adventure under a full moon. Before they set off, guests enjoy a traditional Swiss cheese fondue to boost their energy levels for the exciting downhill descent ahead. The Zermatt piste and rescue service are on hand at all times during the descent to ensure the safety of the group.
