Right at the entrance to the Glarus Region is the Nüenalp with great views over the Linth plateau and the Glarus Alps. Fresh alpine cheese is produced on a daily basis here.
On the Nüenalp small and large groups of tourists get to breathe in the alpine air and experience first hand how Glarus mountain cheese is made. Tourists can produce various products on their own or taste them at a simple tasting event. If desired, one can combine the cheese adventure with a hike on the well-known Schabziger Mountain Trail.
