Young Snakes International Youth Tournaments

Intro
Two international youth hockey tournaments are scheduled for March 2026, dedicated to the U8, U10 and U13 categories, which represent important end-of-season sporting events.
U8 and U10 International Tournament – March 21 and 22, 2026
The event will take place on March 21 and 22, 2026, and involves players from the U10 age group and younger. The tournament is called the "Claudia and Francesco Memorial" and was established to commemorate two GDT collaborators and friends who tragically passed away in the Via Mala accident.
Sixteen teams from Ticino, Switzerland, and several European countries will participate in the competition. The teams will be officially presented on Saturday morning, March 21, 2026, in the courtyard of the Town Hall, coinciding with the city market.
U13 International Tournament – March 27, 28, and 29, 2026 As per tradition, this tournament represents a consolidated end-of-season event and involves players from the U13 age group and younger. The event, called “Memorial Enea Droz”, is scheduled for March 27, 28 and 29, 2026.
Ten teams from Ticino, Switzerland and Europe will participate.
