A place for anyone who seeks peace and quiet, appreciates nature and wants to experience history. The historic hotel and Alpine landscape are what makes this spot 300 metres above Davos so special.

Finds of spearheads show that the Flüela Pass (2,383 m.a.s.l. | 7,818 ft) connecting the Landwasser and Lower Engadine valleys was already crossed during the Bronze Age. For a long time, the Walser people used the route to take their products to the surrounding valleys – from Vinschgau to Tyrol. The mountain pass road, which opened in 1867 and also featured a hospice, is now a starting point for ski mountaineers in winter as well as for summer rides with the historic stagecoach, racing bikes or motorcycles.

The Parsenn funicular climbs the Weissfluhjoch in two sections much like an express train. With the Davos landscape below us, the view extends as far as Piz Kesch, the Bernina and 60 kilometres to the south.

This 13 km-long nature trail is sure to be an amazing experience for nature lovers of all ages – an ideal way to become acquainted with the wonders of nature.

The botanical garden Alpinum Schatzalp is privately run through the Berghotel Schatzalp. The Alpinum is at an average altitude of over 1800 meters and covers a total area of approx. 5 hectares. Numerous different habitats merge into one another and form the most diverse Locations for plant collections such as edelweiss, gentian, bluebells and much more.

An oasis of well-being at 1,560 metres above sea level – an expansive water and wellness environment. The offering ranges from various saunas and Kneipp baths to foot pools and a silent room.

Energy Trail on Madrisa. On this trail positive and negative energy can be experienced at eight different locations. The ultimate destination of the trail is an energy vortex on the Mässplatte (Mäss-Plateau).
